Who am I?

I’m a proud fourth-generation Cartertonian with strong family ties to the area. Over the years, my career has included a variety of roles, both voluntary and professional, across multiple industries, with the majority being in the compliance and governance sector. I started my own family here in Carterton, the very town that shaped me.  

My Focus Points

Transparency and Accountability 
I am committed to open and honest leadership. Council decisions should be clear, accessible, and made with integrity. This includes ensuring that ratepayer money is spent wisely and where it is truly needed, on services and infrastructure that are fit for purpose and deliver real value to the community. 

Communication 

I would like to see Council deliver clear, easy-to-understand communication that the whole community can engage with, especially around our finances, which are central to building trust and transparency. 

Community Engagement 

I want to connect with our community by listening to your concerns, learning from the untold knowledge and experiences you hold, so those voices have real influence in the decisions made by Council. 

Equality and Fairness in a Changing Business Environment 
Fair and equal treatment must extend to all individuals and businesses. In a changing economic landscape, where home-based enterprises are on the rise, we must find a balanced approach that fosters innovation, without compromising the viability of our established, commercial rate-paying businesses.
